In our first year of existence, Flower City Parents Network has attracted lots of readers.  We sometimes struggle, though, to keep the forum from becoming a one-way posting board.  We'd love your thoughts on what keeps you from posting, or - if you do post - what might encourage you to post more.  If it's just the time pressures of life, we certainly understand that! But if there's something else that's keeping you from joining the discussion -- technical problems or anything else -- please help us out by letting us know.

(I know, I know, the catch is that you have to post to let us know why you're not posting. If you REALLY don't want to post, or even answer the poll, we'd love it if you'd shoot us an email -- info@flowercityparents.org -- or private message to let us know your thoughts.)

And if you DO answer the poll, it would be great if you felt like expanding on your answer here, too.

I do post (look -- I'm "very posty") but I have to say I still find it a little intimidating. I sometimes feel like I'm baring my soul, and I do think long and hard about posting anything that might be even remotely controversial. I'm not a particularly confrontational person and I am terrified at the idea of having to defend myself --even online! What I do like about this forum is that in general, posters are friendly and supportive -- even when they disagree. I hope that continues. I think we're all interested in hearing different points of view, but few of us enjoy reading a personal rant. So Hilary, Elizabeth, Lori -- thank you for getting this going. And to everyone who posts -- thank you, too.

I  love read to about what is important to the community of parents/stake holders that I work with!  I also love to information that abounds here.  It is also a great place for parents to come for a quick, answer, or to get opinions.    This information I am able to turn over to my parents.
