Wilson Foundation Academy has been named a finalist for the 2010 Panasonic National School Change Award.
The award is presented to schools that demonstrate
measurable change in attitudes, beliefs, and values, evident in decisions about instruction, organization, governance, and accountability, which result in improved student performance.
“The effort your school staff, students, and parents have made is a
tribute to your school’s dedication to the well-being and academic success of all students in your school,” said Dr. Lew Smith, Director of the Panasonic National School Change Awards, in a letter to
Wilson Foundation Academy Principal Dr. Deasure Matthew. “We salute all within the school community and your superintendent and the district office staff for this great accomplishment.”
